Forum

Many hospitals have few or no dedicated diabetes educators, and doctors have little time to teach. The next DIABRIDGE Forum asks how healthcare teams can build education capability within the staff they already have.

The DIABRIDGE Forum is a monthly online discussion bringing together clinicians and healthcare leaders to explore practical approaches to diabetes education, workforce capability and implementation.

At our inaugural Forum in July, participants highlighted a lack of diabetes educators in hospitals and limited time for doctors to provide education, while agreeing that structured diabetes education would benefit their patients. This session takes that challenge head on: if dedicated educators are scarce, how can hospitals build the capability to deliver structured education within their existing teams, and keep it going when staff move on?

Hosted by Dorathy Oparaeche, Founder and Clinical Lead, DIABRIDGE Healthcare Services.

Date: Friday 30 October 2026 · Time: 12:30pm UK time · Online via Zoom
